The Observer

The deadline to renew the Observer subscription through Queens Avenue is March. For a member of a United Church congregation, the cost is only $14 for 11 issues. Contact the Queens church office.

The Observer has some articles from previous issues available on its web site for your personal use at www.ucobserver.org. However, there is a note on the web site to please contact The Observer for permission before duplication or redistribution, in part or in full, in any medium.

Mandate

Mandate magazine is the mission magazine of the United Church. There are articles on the web site from the current issue, as well as articles from previous issues, and an index of all articles from January 1996 to November 1999. Magazines include Gathering for Worship Planners; Seeds & Sowers which includes worship and program ideas designed for leaders of children, and Women's Concerns, a forum for women to share stories, resource ideas and strategies for empowerment and transformation. www.united-church.ca/home.shtm

United Church Camping Online offers a list of United Church camps in B.C. and in Canada. You can also find the United Church Camp Standards Manual, and camping programming ideas. Naramata Centre Programs and Conference Facilities. Naramata offers many different opportunities for continuing education and/or healthful retreats. Look at their programs at www.naramatacentre.net
