Senior Choir

Queens Avenue has earned a reputation for providing outstanding music, due to the combination of a Casavant-Freres pipe organ, an excellent senior choir, and a wonderful organist.

Our senior choir is a friendly group who enjoy making music together. The choir practices Thursday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary, September through June. New members are welcome in all sections. If you are interested in joining the choir, please speak to Rachel (our organist) after the service, or call the church office (604-522-1606) for Rachel's contact information.

Handbell Choir

Queens Avenue Memorial Bell Ringers meet on Thursdays in the church lounge from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. We welcome new members, so if you can read music and would like to try ringing in a bell choir, please come and join us. We will be ringing for a few services and some community events throughout the year. Playing in the handbell choir is an amazing experience.

Several Queens Avenue families have donated the bells to the church as memorial gifts for family members. In addition, in December 2007 a fourth octave of bells and three octaves of hand chimes were dedicated and presented to the church as a memorial gift by Winifred Franklin.

Junior Choir

Queens has had various junior choirs, youth choirs, and handbell choirs throughout its long history. These have been directed by member volunteers from Queens Avenue.
